The naive, carefree girl she was,
Her laugh could make the whole world pause,
Some stared, admiring her in awe,
While others mocked, calling it a flaw,
The naive, carefree girl she was,
Her world was free, laughter came easily,
Yet all saw a girl who was just silly,
She believed every word said,
Unaware that honesty had been long dead.
The naive, carefree girl she was,
She thought all around were her friends,
Never realised it was all just pretends.
The naive, carefree girl she was,
Now has grown up realising the truth,
Not every seed you sow turns to a fruit.
The naive, carefree girl she was,
Now isn’t so naive and carefree anymore.
