A heavy bag I carried all along,
With all strengths, was never mine to belong,
Back aching, breaking under hope,
Perhaps one day I’ll learn to cope.

But NO..Why must I?
How much more must I try?
So I set it down, walked ahead leaving it behind,
Cause now it’s myself  I long to find.

Sometimes, knowingly or unknowingly we tend to carry baggages which are too heavy for us…and for what? We don’t even get any appreciation for it nor does anyone ever notice.

It’s important to leave those baggages behind and walk off.

By this I don’t mean we should leave the baggage of responsibilities.. we must do what we are ought to do.. not more not less.

But carrying other people’s mood, emotions, their silence ain’t our responsibility but their own to carry… those baggage’s we must drop and take control of our life.

I know it’s difficult when all of your life you’ve been a people pleaser.. but ask yourself.. did they care like you? Are they scared of hurting you? Are they scared of losing you?

And if your answers are “No” then you know what to do.

They aren’t your responsibility and you aren’t their responsibility.

Let’s leave the baggages that emotionally drain us!

Cause today (11.2.26) I decide to leave all that’s not mine and walk ahead to what awaits me.

I know God is with me in every step I take ahead.
