Have you wondered?
The bodies we bury,
Lay down in such hurry,
Was taught to the world,
First by the crow, a lesson unfurled.
So, the way of life is pondered.
~ Me
Hello y’all,
For those of you who don’t get it… let me explain.
Yesterday, I read a verse in the Quran: it was about the story of Cain and Abel. Now I’m sure most of you would be aware of that story but hey if you don’t, I’ll explain.
Abel and Cain were two sons of prophet Adam (pbuh). God asked both to make a sacrifice. Abel did the sacrifice with sincerity in his heart while Cain did without sincerity. Now God accepts the sacrifice of Abel, which now makes Cain jealous and angry. He says Abel that he will kill him.. jealousy overtook him and he killed his brother.
Now here comes the part of my poem, after Cain murdered Abel ( the first death and murder in human history), he didn’t know what to do with the body. God sent a crow to scratch the earth and bury another dead crow to show the way. So the process of burial as such was know to us by a crow. After that, Cain felt shameful that he didn’t even know what to do with his brother’s body and that a crow knows better.
So basically.. crow is the teacher of humanity. Just imagine what would have happened if we didn’t know what to do with the bodies? World would be chaotic.
“From dust you came, to dust you return.”
I found this profound and hence I wanted to share with y’all.
THANKYOU!
Until next time💗
