Gratitude.
It’s a word we often keep hearing.
I used to think gratitude is to be thankful for all the big things in life: like your achievements, your career, success etc etc.
And yes, that is gratitude but it’s just a part of it. Recently I’ve been thinking and reading stuffs which would give a spiritual and mental awakening.
And I realised gratitude isn’t just being grateful or thankful for the big things but also being thankful for all the smallest of the smallest things.
Honestly gratitude lives in much smaller places.
In the annoying brothers who disturb you all the time.
In a friend who sends you a random message and checks up on you.
Honestly gratefulness also lies when you have an argument with your parents. I know it sounds wierd but imagine there are children without parents or they live apart.
And ofcourse there’s gratitude even being able to pray.

There’s a Surah in the Quran and it’s called Surah Ar Rahman: and it’s one of my favourite Surah.
Ar Rahman is one of the beautiful name of God. It means The Most Merciful.
There’s a verse which is repeated 31 times in this Surah and it says
Which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
Now one might ask: why is it repeated so many times? We heard it the first time.
It’s not repeated because God forgot He already said it but it’s repeated because human beings keep forgetting it.
Human heart is a very very greedy thing.
We get used to all the blessings that we stop noticing it.
We stop noticing friends and family.
We stop noticing that our heart keeps beating.
We stop noticing that we wake up every morning when some people don’t see the morning light.
Let’s just try to look around and you’ll see your old scattered prayers lying around💗

Alhumdulillah for everything 💗
Thanks y’all for reading 💗
Until next time
